Inspection & Testing

The IET Code of Practice, which forms the basis for portable appliance testing in the UK, states; those carrying out the inspection & testing must be competent to undertake the inspection & where appropriate testing of electrical equipment/appliances having due regard of their own safety and that of others.

The tester must also have an understanding of the modes of electrical, mechanical or thermal damage to electrical equipment, appliances & their flexes which may be encountered in any environment.

All of our ‘appliance testing’ staff hold the minimum required qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment) making us the ideal solution when considering implementing a routine programme of test & inspection.
